Meet the Owner/Founder
Megan LePage
Megan LePage began her dance career at the age of five and started competing at the age of seven. Her love for dance quickly grew into a lifelong commitment as she spent her elementary, middle school, and high school years training, performing, and competing at an advanced level. Through years of dedicated training and competition, she developed a strong work ethic, technical excellence, and a passion for continuous growth both in and out of the studio.
Megan trained for eleven years at Prestige School of Dance in Salina, KS under the direction of Kristal Venters, where she developed a strong technical foundation and a deep appreciation for the discipline, artistry, and dedication that dance requires. During her final two years of high school, Megan continued her training under the direction of Renee Huber at Renee's Dance Academy, further refining her technique and preparing for a future in teaching and choreography.
Throughout her training, Megan studied a wide variety of dance styles, including tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop. She has had the opportunity to train with many respected choreographers and industry professionals from across the U.S., including Saylor Ann Bailey, Callie Nanfito, Andie Stitt, Kelly King, Skye Massay, Emily Pike, Cheryl Priess Dickey, Derek Mitchell, and many others.
Throughout her competitive career, Megan earned numerous overall awards, scholarships, and titles at both regional and national levels. She is proud to have earned national titles while competing in Orlando, FL, Branson, MO, and Tulsa, OK. These experiences helped shape her understanding of dedication, perseverance, and excellence both on and off the stage.
During her junior year of high school, Megan began student teaching and working alongside her instructors, gaining valuable experience in dance education, lesson planning, and working with dancers of all ages. It was during this time that she discovered a passion for helping dancers grow in both confidence and ability, a passion that continues to shape her teaching philosophy today.
Since then, Megan has spent more than five years teaching dancers of all ages and ability levels. She is passionate about building strong technical foundations while creating a positive environment where dancers feel challenged, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Her teaching emphasizes proper technique, discipline, artistry, and confidence, helping each dancer grow not only as a performer but as an individual.
In addition to teaching, Megan choreographs competitive routines for multiple studios throughout Kansas. Her choreography has earned numerous overall awards, special judges' awards, and top honors at both regional and national competitions. She is also proud to serve as the Head Coach of the Abilene High School Dance Team, where she continues to inspire young dancers while promoting leadership, teamwork, and school spirit.
Beyond the studio, Megan has served as a backstage crew member for Prestige National Talent Competition for the past three years. This experience has provided valuable insight into the competition industry while allowing her to support dancers and studios from behind the scenes at both regional and national events.
For years, Megan dreamed of creating a studio that felt like home, a place where dancers could receive exceptional training while feeling supported, encouraged, and truly valued. Through her experiences as a dancer, teacher, choreographer, and coach, she came to believe that dance has the power to do far more than teach technique. It can build confidence, ignite passion, develop character, and help young people discover the best versions of themselves.
That belief became the foundation of Elevate Dance Collective. Guided by three simple words, Move. Inspire. Elevate., Megan is committed to creating an environment where dancers are moved with purpose, inspired to believe in themselves, and elevated through intentional training and meaningful relationships. She believes that dance has the unique ability to bring people together by creating friendships, memories, and life lessons that last long after a dancer's final performance. She is committed to creating a positive and supportive community where every dancer feels encouraged to grow and succeed. Her greatest goal is to help every dancer recognize their potential, pursue their passions, and carry the lessons learned through dance well beyond the studio.
